"So where's the girl you left behing?"

It was late winter and school was still in, in fact the little mouslings were taking their last midterm exams and were getting off early.
"I can't believe that science one was so easy! I thought I would have done badly, but I got an A." said Tanya carrying to study for her test tomorrow.
"Ah you always get straight A's, while the not so bright types have to deal with straight D's."  This was one of Tanya's classmates, Sharice, A tomboyish Tawny mouse with bands jutting out a bit and short hair.
"Oh you could pass if you tried."
"I could try but I don't wanna, anyways don't you have a job as well Miss diva?"
Tanya blushed a deep red; it had been a while since someone out of her family called her a diva and meant it.  Tanya still danced and sang at the saloon and she was loving stardom.
She turned to the side and saw Fieval talking to a young boy mouse with black fur and a small curl to his hair and green eyes. Bridgette's' and Tony's son, Filly, named after Fieval and the young boy mouse had a younger girl mouse next to them, Tabitha, their daughter.
She rolled her eyes and walked on into the house knowing she was late for work. Her mother kissed her cheek, her father hugged her and Yasha asked to go with her but Tanya said no as she closed the door to her room.  She turned eyeing an outfit that was green with an emerald on the chest and no sleeves, ok length and a feather crown.
She put it on and dolled herself up and headed out the door, passing Tiger and Sharice on the way.
"Hey Tanya."
"Can't talk now tiger gotta run!"
She ran inside and stood behind the big, velvety, red curtain.
"Ladies and gentlemen, Cats and mice, I give you the star of the salon, Miss Tanya Mousekewitz."   
Her heart raced and she stepped out, front foot first, grasping her hands together.  She began to sing her new number.
                           You know, you know that dreams don't come true unless you, just wish, just wish, they do but even then you need some hope and a star to guide you and you know you know that you'll see dreams inside you.  Dance you heart out under the blue, believe me dreams do come true.
  As she twirled around revealing some of her legs to the mice, which only further caused them to desire her, she thought about Cat R. Waul and how he made this all come true, how he adored her singing and thought she was a diva in her working clothes with no makeup or anything, treated like a true diva from true gentlemen, not like these barbarians who only wanted one thing.   
She danced back on stage stopping on her right foot then breathing hard as applause followed, whistles, flowers throws at her furry feet and coins.  She picked up the coins and flowers and ate up the applause but pretended not to hear the catcalls, no pun intended.  
Tanya went backstage passing Mrs. Kitty who was pushing up her furry chest to increase cleavage and Tanya ignored this thinking of how sad Tiger would be if he knew his "Baby bunker boo" was doing this for other men.  She took off her outfit and wiped off the makeup and hurriedly put on her regular clothing, a dress that had a blue skirt and a white top part with long sleeves but showed some of her shoulders.

Then Tanya found her babushka, worn out from years but clean and slipped it over her two mouse ears and headed out, slightly turning to see the cat that had once said, "It's what under the mask that makes the woman". Tanya sighed and went home.
